  • Mark Olson  - Lead Pastor    circleinstagram

Mark grew up on a farm north of Fargo/Moorhead - then moved to the "big city" of Farmington. Mark was baptized, saved, confirmed and baptized in the Spirit while in the Lutheran church. After that experience at the age of 16 he found a Spirit filled church at Farmington Assembly of God that formed his call to ministry. Always an athlete, Mark retired from "church" softball after decades of playing over 100 games a year. His current pursuits are disc golf and pursuing 3 granddaughters all under the age of 6!

Mark and Teresa, married in 1985, grew up across the street from each other and have been involved in ministry together since they were teenagers.

After pastor 30 years in Apple Valley MN, they moved to Arizona for ministry in 2019 and 2020. The birth of their 3rd grand-daughter back in MN led their hearts back north and they have been pastoring Litchfield since 2021.

Our Beliefs

SALVATION

“Are there ever really any second chances in life? Surprisingly, the answer is yes. The Bible calls it Salvation. Salvation is God’s second chance for every one of us.”
-- Jim Bradford, general secretary

DIVINE HEALING

Wherever Jesus went, He ministered with compassion and healed the sick. Christ’s example showed an interconnection with salvation as many believed following their healing.

Our Lord continues to heal today and it is vital that the church preach, teach and practice this biblical truth. Scriptures command believers to pray in faith and trust God for the outcome.

“Christ’s death on the cross not only provides for forgiveness of sin, but also healing for sickness. The One who gave you the gift of eternal life…is the same One who can heal your body.”

-- Doug Clay, general superintendent

BAPTISM in the HOLY SPIRIT

The doctrine of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is our distinctive. This truth explains the passion and power of our witness. Jesus promised His followers they would receive power from on high so that they would be His witnesses. We believe this truth is just as relevant today as our Fellowship continues to take the gospel message around the globe.

Learn more about the Holy Spirit’s baptism and His empowerment by visiting the various resources on this page. Teaching and small group materials are also available on the sidebar.

“The baptism in the Holy Spirit provides the believer with an empowering for witness and to live a life pleasing to God.”

-- Alton Garrison, assistant general superintendent

SECOND COMING

With the world experiencing natural disasters, economic downturns and increasing uncertainties on many fronts, the doctrine of Christ’s Second Coming is more relevant than ever. Believers must rest in the certainty of the imminent return of our Lord and share this hope with others.

“As followers of the risen Lord Jesus, we have the assurance of a wonderful hope…a reunion with our saved loved ones, and more importantly with our Savior. We call this ‘Our Blessed Hope!’”

-- George O. Wood, former general superintendent
